Alvin Hines vs Jhonata Diniz — Fight recap

Jhonata Diniz defeated Alvin Hines via unanimous decision after three rounds on June 28, 2025, with Herb Dean officiating. Diniz's striking efficiency proved decisive, landing 112 of 182 significant strikes for a 61% clip compared to Hines's 82 of 259 at just 31%.

The Brazilian maintained control through superior accuracy, particularly with head strikes (94 of 160) and a perfect 15-for-15 performance with leg kicks that accumulated damage over the distance. Hines struggled to establish offensive rhythm despite volume, managing only one successful takedown from ten attempts while Diniz kept the fight standing.

With minimal control time for either fighter and no submissions attempted, the bout remained a pure striking affair where Diniz's precision outpaced Hines's output. The unanimous decision reflected Diniz's cleaner technique and damage accumulation across all three rounds, positioning him as a rising prospect in the division.
