Angela Hill vs Nina Nunes — Fight recap

Nina Nunes defeated Angela Hill by unanimous decision over three rounds on November 11, 2017, in a striking-heavy contest that saw both fighters land significant volume despite identical 46% accuracy rates. Nunes edged the striking battle with 143 significant strikes landed compared to Hill's 107, while both remained grounded throughout with zero takedowns attempted.

Hill landed 68 head strikes and 21 leg strikes but struggled to find consistent rhythm, managing only 0:08 of control time. Nunes' superior output—particularly her 39 leg strikes to Hill's 21—proved decisive across all three rounds under referee Keith Peterson's watch.

The loss marked a setback for Hill's momentum in the women's strawweight division.
