Bruno Silva vs David Dvorak — Fight recap

David Dvorak defeated Bruno Silva by unanimous decision over three rounds at UFC Fight Night 171 on March 14, 2020. Dvorak's striking volume proved decisive, landing 67 significant strikes at 50% accuracy compared to Silva's 45 of 97 attempts.

Silva attempted 11 takedowns but succeeded on only three, while Dvorak stuffed his sole takedown attempt and controlled the cage for 1:12 to Silva's 1:32. Despite Silva's body-striking efficiency—landing 12 of 17 attempts—Dvorak's superior head-strike accuracy (35 of 86) and overall output secured all three scorecards.

The decision marked a setback for Silva's momentum in the middleweight division following a striking-heavy affair where neither fighter achieved a knockdown or submission.
