Charles Oliveira vs Cub Swanson — Fight recap

Cub Swanson defeated Charles Oliveira by KO/TKO in the first round at 1:40, landing a devastating strike that sent Oliveira to the canvas with a knockdown. Despite Oliveira's early aggression—landing 6 of 18 significant strikes and securing one takedown for 50% accuracy—Swanson's superior striking efficiency proved decisive.

Swanson connected on 9 of 21 significant strikes at 42% accuracy while maintaining better head-strike placement with 6 of 13 landing clean. The fight lasted just over 100 seconds of action, with Oliveira controlling just 46 seconds of cage time before the referee halted the bout.

This victory marked a significant statement for Swanson's featherweight credentials and exposed vulnerabilities in Oliveira's defensive striking at the time.
