Christian Leroy Duncan vs Gregory Rodrigues — Fight recap

Gregory Rodrigues defeated Christian Leroy Duncan via unanimous decision over three rounds on July 27, 2024. Rodrigues landed 45 significant strikes at 56% accuracy while controlling the fight with 8:20 of mat time and four takedowns converted from twelve attempts.

Duncan, despite landing 29 significant strikes at a crisp 60% accuracy and maintaining superior striking efficiency, managed only 1:45 of control time and failed to secure any takedowns, remaining primarily in a reactive striking posture. Rodrigues' grappling volume and positional dominance proved decisive across all three rounds, with judges awarding him the unanimous verdict.

The victory solidifies Rodrigues' standing in the middleweight division while Duncan faces questions about his ability to compete with wrestlers at this level.
