Demetrious Johnson vs Henry Cejudo — Fight recap

Demetrious Johnson knocked out Henry Cejudo with a TKO in round one at 2:49, dominating the brief exchange with superior striking accuracy. Johnson landed 21 of 33 significant strikes (63%) compared to Cejudo's 6 of 17 (35%), including a knockdown that proved decisive.

The striking disparity was stark in the head game, where Johnson connected on 10 of 19 head strikes while Cejudo managed just 1 of 7. Though Cejudo secured one takedown and controlled 33 seconds of cage time versus Johnson's 17 seconds, the damage inflicted by Johnson's precise combinations rendered those positional advantages moot.

The finish reinforced Johnson's dominance at flyweight and established him as the division's clear standard-bearer heading into the summer.
