Dennis Buzukja vs Marcio Barbosa — Fight recap

Marcio Barbosa defeated Dennis Buzukja by KO/TKO in the first round at 1:20, with referee Herb Dean stopping the action on April 18, 2026. Buzukja landed 5 of 13 significant strikes (38%) but struggled to establish offense, connecting on just 2 body shots and 3 leg kicks while missing all 6 head-strike attempts.

Barbosa proved more efficient despite lower volume, landing 4 of 8 significant strikes (50%) and scoring a knockdown that proved decisive. Neither fighter attempted takedowns, and the bout remained standing throughout its brief duration with zero control time recorded for either competitor.

The early finish suggests Barbosa caught Buzukja in an opening exchange and capitalized on superior hand placement and timing to secure the victory.
