Edson Barboza vs Rafaello Oliveira — Fight recap

Edson Barboza defeated Rafaello Oliveira by KO/TKO in the second round at 1:44, with referee Herb Dean stopping the action after Barboza landed a decisive knockdown. Barboza dominated the striking exchanges, connecting on 49 of 89 significant strikes (55%) compared to Oliveira's 19 of 42 (45%), with a particularly effective leg-kick game landing 23 of 28 attempts.

Oliveira struggled to mount offensive pressure, failing on all five takedown attempts and managing only 0:02 of control time against Barboza's 0:12. The Brazilian's varied striking attack—combining head, body, and leg strikes—proved too much for Oliveira to handle in a pure striking matchup.

The victory showcased Barboza's striking prowess and positioned him as a rising threat in the lightweight division.
