Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Zhang Weili — Fight recap

Zhang Weili retained her strawweight title with a second-round TKO of Joanna Jedrzejczyk at 1:28, halting the challenger's comeback bid with a devastating striking sequence. Jedrzejczyk landed 43 of 85 significant strikes at 50% accuracy but struggled to find consistent offense, while Zhang dominated with 69 of 102 significant strikes at 67% efficiency and secured three takedowns on six attempts.

Zhang's head strikes (52 of 80) proved particularly effective, and she controlled 2:51 of cage time compared to Jedrzejczyk's zero seconds on top. The Polish veteran's inability to establish takedown offense or control time allowed Zhang to dictate the fight's pace and range.

With the victory, Zhang cemented her position as one of the division's most well-rounded threats, while Jedrzejczyk faces questions about her path forward at 34.
