Loopy Godinez vs Luana Carolina — Fight recap

Luana Carolina defeated Loopy Godinez via unanimous decision after three rounds on October 16, 2021, with referee Chris Tognoni officiating. Carolina's striking volume proved decisive, landing 53 significant strikes compared to Godinez's 23, while maintaining a 49% accuracy rate to Godinez's 42%.

Despite Godinez's wrestling activity—attempting 15 takedowns and securing two—she managed only 7:37 of control time against Carolina's 0:52, indicating Carolina spent most of the fight at distance dictating the action. Carolina's striking distribution was balanced, connecting on 18 body shots and 11 leg kicks, while Godinez struggled to find her range, landing just 16 head strikes and 4 body shots across three rounds.

The decision reflected Carolina's superior output and ring control throughout, as Godinez's grappling attempts failed to establish sustained pressure or momentum shifts in a striking-heavy matchup.
