Macy Chiasson vs Yana Santos — Fight recap

Yana Santos defeated Macy Chiasson via unanimous decision over three rounds on October 4, 2025, in a striking-heavy bantamweight contest. Santos outlanded Chiasson in significant strikes 65 to 54, connecting at a 52 percent clip compared to Chiasson's 45 percent accuracy.

Chiasson attempted to impose her wrestling, landing 2 of 3 takedowns for 66 percent efficiency and controlling 3:43 of the fight, but Santos neutralized the grappling threat by defending the single takedown attempt she faced. The striking volume favored Santos, who landed 31 body shots to Chiasson's 25 and maintained cleaner combinations throughout.

Chiasson's wrestling base provided moments of control, yet Santos' superior striking output and defensive wrestling proved decisive across all three rounds under referee Chris Tognoni's supervision. Santos' performance keeps her in the bantamweight conversation while Chiasson faces questions about her path forward in the division.
