Serghei Spivac vs Tom Aspinall — Fight recap

Tom Aspinall defeated Serghei Spivac via knockout in the first round at 1:30, establishing himself as a heavyweight contender with a dominant striking performance. Aspinall landed 16 of 26 significant strikes at 61% accuracy, including 12 head strikes that proved decisive, while Spivac managed zero significant strikes on 11 attempts and failed both takedown attempts.

The fight never developed into a grappling exchange, with Spivac unable to implement his wrestling game plan against Aspinall's superior striking offense and cage control. Aspinall's clinical striking—particularly his head-focused attack—overwhelmed Spivac in the opening minutes, resulting in a knockout that signaled Aspinall's readiness for top-tier heavyweight competition.
