Abus Magomedov

Abus Magomedov, 28-6-1, is an orthodox-stance middleweight from Dagestan standing 6'2" with a 78-inch reach. The 34-year-old operates as a balanced mixed martial artist, averaging 3.21 strikes landed per minute with 48% accuracy while absorbing 3.68 strikes per minute and maintaining 56% striking defense.

His grappling acumen is evident through 2.65 takedowns per 15 minutes at 57% accuracy, complemented by perfect 100% takedown defense that has prevented opponents from controlling him on the canvas. Magomedov's recent form shows mixed results: he scored a devastating first-round knockout of Dustin Stoltzfus in September 2022, suffered a second-round TKO loss to Sean Strickland in July 2023, then rebounded with unanimous decision victories over Warlley Alves and Michel Pereira in 2024-2025, punctuated by a third-round submission finish of Brunno Ferreira in October 2024.

His cardio score of 47.8 suggests moderate conditioning, though his 14.0 knockout score indicates legitimate finishing power in the middleweight division. Magomedov's 4-2 record over his last six fights demonstrates his ability to compete at an elevated level, though consecutive losses to ranked opposition have kept him outside title contention.
