Amanda Ribas

Amanda Ribas, a 5'4" Brazilian Orthodox fighter with a professional record of 13-7-0, competes in the strawweight division where she has posted a 6-2 record over her last eight fights. Ribas operates as a well-rounded grappler with submission credentials, averaging 2.05 takedowns per 15 minutes at 52% accuracy while defending takedowns at an impressive 82% rate.

Her striking volume remains modest at 4.26 strikes landed per minute with 39% accuracy, though she absorbs just 3.29 strikes per minute while maintaining 60% striking defense. Her submission average of 0.6 per 15 minutes reflects her submission threat, highlighted by her submission victory over Emily Whitmire in 2019.

Recent performances show mixed results against top-ranked competition: she earned a unanimous decision win over Virna Jandiroba in October 2021 and a third-round TKO finish of Luana Pinheiro in November 2023, but suffered a decisive unanimous decision loss to Rose Namajunas in March 2024. Ribas remains a competitive strawweight contender with solid wrestling fundamentals and grappling acumen, though her recent loss to Namajunas suggests she faces an uphill climb toward title contention.
