Anthony Hernandez

Anthony Hernandez, sporting a 15-3-0 record with one no-contest, is an orthodox middleweight striker-grappler who operates with balanced offensive and defensive capabilities. Standing 6'0" with a 75-inch reach, Hernandez lands 4.57 strikes per minute at 60% accuracy while maintaining a respectable 51% striking defense against 3.10 absorbed strikes per minute.

His wrestling credentials are substantial—he averages 5.88 takedown attempts per 15 minutes with 48% accuracy and a solid 68% takedown defense. The submission threat is ever-present, with 1.6 submission attempts per 15 minutes, evidenced by his recent second-round submission of Roman Kopylov in February 2024.

Recent form has been mixed but trending upward: he defeated Michel Pereira via fifth-round knockout in October 2024, secured a unanimous decision over Brendan Allen in February 2025, but suffered a devastating third-round knockout loss to Sean Strickland in February 2026. His most impressive recent victory came against Edmen Shahbazyan via third-round TKO in May 2023, showcasing his finishing ability.

Hernandez's hybrid approach—combining volume striking with consistent grappling—makes him a difficult matchup in the middleweight division, though his striking defense remains an area for improvement.
