Azamat Murzakanov

Azamat Murzakanov, nicknamed "The Professional," holds a 16-1 professional record as a southpaw light heavyweight standing 5'10" with a 71-inch reach. Over his career, Murzakanov has averaged 4.40 strikes landed per minute with 56% striking accuracy while maintaining solid defensive metrics—56% striking defense and an impressive 88% takedown defense.

His grappling output remains minimal at just 0.68 takedowns attempted per 15 minutes with 20% accuracy, indicating a striker-first approach. Murzakanov has demonstrated finishing power throughout his recent run, recording first-round knockouts against Brendson Ribeiro (June 2025) and Aleksandar Rakic (October 2025), along with a third-round stoppage of Tafon Nchukwi in 2022.

His only recent setback came against Paulo Costa in April 2026, a third-round knockout loss that marked his first defeat. Despite the loss to Costa, Murzakanov's track record shows consistent finishing ability and improved competition, though his limited takedown threat and moderate striking volume suggest vulnerability against high-volume strikers or elite grapplers in the division.
