Bogdan Grad

Bogdan Grad, the Romanian orthodox fighter holding a 15-4 professional record, operates as a volume striker with grappling ambitions but inconsistent execution across both disciplines. Averaging 4.06 strikes landed per minute at 51% accuracy while absorbing 5.06 strikes per minute, Grad relies on forward pressure and output rather than precision—his 49% striking defense suggests he eats significant offense in return.

His takedown average of 4.22 per 15 minutes indicates regular ground-attack attempts, though his 40% accuracy reflects poor conversion rates; his 75% takedown defense does show solid resistance to opponent advances. With a KO score of 13.4, Grad possesses finishing power, as evidenced by his second-round knockout of Lucas Alexander in February 2025.

However, recent results reveal vulnerability: he suffered a devastating second-round KO loss to Luke Riley in November 2025 and a unanimous decision defeat to Muhammad Naimov in June 2025, bookending a split-decision win over Michael Aswell Jr. in August 2024. At 29 years old and standing 5'8" with a 70-inch reach, Grad's compact frame limits his leverage advantage, and his current 2-3 stretch from five recent fights suggests he requires a significant recalibration to remain competitive at his weight class.
