Daria Zhelezniakova

Daria Zhelezniakova, an Orthodox-stance bantamweight from Russia with a 10-2 professional record, operates as a volume striker with defensive discipline. Across her career, she averages 4.75 strikes landed per minute while maintaining a 68% striking defense rate and 41% striking accuracy, indicating a fighter who throws frequently but selectively.

Her grappling remains minimal—0.44 takedowns attempted per 15 minutes with a perfect 100% accuracy rate when she does shoot, though her 50% takedown defense suggests vulnerability on the mat. Zhelezniakova's recent form has been mixed: she scored a unanimous decision victory over Montse Rendon in March 2024, followed by a dominant unanimous decision win against Melissa Mullins in June 2025, but suffered a devastating first-round submission loss to Ailin Perez in September 2024.

That submission loss to Perez exposed her defensive wrestling gaps and represents a critical learning moment as she looks to climb the bantamweight rankings. With her striking volume and defensive acumen intact, Zhelezniakova needs to address her submission vulnerability and takedown defense if she intends to contend at the elite level.
