Ismael Bonfim

Ismael "Marreta" Bonfim is a 28-year-old Brazilian orthodox lightweight with a 20-6-0 professional record who has posted a mixed 3-3 run in recent UFC competition. A volume striker with moderate output, Bonfim averages 5.51 strikes landed per minute at 54% accuracy while maintaining solid defensive mechanics at 65% strike defense.

His takedown game remains limited at 1.06 attempts per 15 minutes with just 33% accuracy, though he defends takedowns effectively at 76%. With a knockout score of 9.1, Bonfim carries legitimate finishing power for the division, evidenced by his second-round TKO of Terrance McKinney in January 2023.

However, recent results have proven troubling: he secured a unanimous decision over Vinc Pichel in May 2024 but has since suffered consecutive losses—a first-round submission to Benoit Saint Denis in July 2023, a February 2025 doctor's stoppage TKO against Nazim Sadykhov, and most recently a second-round knockout loss to Chris Padilla in November 2025. Bonfim's inconsistency and recent injury concerns have left his lightweight prospects uncertain.
