Jose Ochoa

Jose "Kalzifer" Ochoa is a 23-year-old Peruvian southpaw with a 9-2-0 record (1 NC) competing at flyweight. Ochoa operates as a volume striker with modest output, landing 5.16 strikes per minute at 47% accuracy while absorbing 2.99 per minute and defending 58% of incoming strikes.

His grappling arsenal remains underdeveloped—he averages just 0.30 takedowns per 15 minutes with 25% accuracy and 65% defense—but he compensates with submission threats, averaging 0.9 submissions per 15 minutes and carrying a KO score of 11.5. Recent results show inconsistency: Ochoa scored a devastating second-round KO over Cody Durden in June 2025, followed by a unanimous decision loss to Asu Almabayev in July 2025, then rebounded with a decision win over Clayton Carpenter in May 2026 before falling to Lone'er Kavanagh via unanimous decision in November 2024.

His 2-2 record over his last four fights reflects a fighter still establishing consistency at the elite level, with his submission-heavy approach and occasional finishing power providing upside despite modest striking volume.
