Josias Musasa

Josias Musasa, a 26-year-old southpaw from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, holds a professional record of 8-2-0 with a recent stretch of 1-2 across his last three outings. Operating at 135 pounds, Musasa lands 3.19 strikes per minute with 45% accuracy while absorbing 4.39 strikes per minute and defending 36% of incoming strikes, indicating a volume-based but porous striking approach.

His wrestling profile shows moderate activity at 0.90 takedown attempts per 15 minutes with 50% accuracy and solid 81% takedown defense, though submission threats remain limited at 0.5 per 15 minutes. Despite his "KO Wizard" moniker and a respectable 5.3 knockout score, Musasa has struggled recently: dropping a unanimous decision to Colby Thicknesse on September 27, 2025, and suffering a first-round submission loss to Carlos Vera on March 15, 2025, sandwiched around a split-decision victory over Otari Tanzilovi in September 2024.

The losses expose defensive vulnerabilities and cardio concerns (38.4 cardio score), suggesting Musasa must tighten his striking defense and grappling security to remain competitive at bantamweight.
