Julius Walker

Julius Walker, a 24-year-old American light heavyweight with a 7-2 record, fights out of an orthodox stance at 6'4" and 205 pounds. Walker operates as a well-rounded grappler with serious knockout power, averaging 4.09 takedown attempts per 15 minutes while landing 3.73 strikes per minute with 53% accuracy; his 100% takedown defense demonstrates strong positional awareness, though his 38% takedown accuracy and 43% striking defense suggest inconsistency in execution.

With a knockout score of 9.9, Walker possesses legitimate finishing power despite recording no submission averages across his career. Recently, Walker has struggled at the elite level: he defeated Rafael Cerqueira via unanimous decision in August 2025, but then suffered a second-round knockout loss to Dustin Jacoby in February 2026 and dropped a split decision to Alonzo Menifield in February 2025.

These consecutive losses to ranked competition indicate Walker is still developing the consistency needed to compete consistently in the 205-pound division's upper echelon. Moving forward, Walker must refine his striking defense and takedown accuracy to remain competitive among light heavyweight contenders.
