Lucas Fernando

Lucas Fernando is a 27-year-old Brazilian orthodox fighter with a 13-3-0 professional record who competes at light heavyweight. Operating as a grappler-oriented competitor, Fernando averages 3.00 takedowns per 15 minutes with 30% accuracy, though his 0% takedown defense reveals significant vulnerability in that dimension.

His striking output remains modest at 1.87 strikes landed per minute with 51% accuracy, while he absorbs 4.73 strikes per minute and defends only 38% of incoming strikes—metrics indicating he relies heavily on clinch work and takedown attempts rather than clean striking exchanges. Fernando poses a submission threat, averaging 1.0 submission attempt per 15 minutes across his career.

His most recent outing came against Cesar Almeida on August 8, 2023, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss over three rounds, a setback that underscores the need for improved striking defense and grappling consistency. With a cardio score of 23.2, Fernando maintains reasonable conditioning for extended fights.

Currently unranked, Fernando must demonstrate improved takedown accuracy and defensive wrestling to climb the light heavyweight rankings and secure meaningful matchups in the division.
