Manoel Sousa

Manoel "Manumito" Sousa is a 26-year-old Brazilian orthodox striker with a 14-1 professional record who has established himself as a dangerous finisher in the lightweight division. Operating at 155 pounds with a 70-inch reach, Sousa averages 4.15 strikes landed per minute with 45% accuracy while maintaining solid defensive awareness at 51% strike defense.

His most distinctive attribute is his submission threat—he averages 1.6 submission attempts per 15 minutes of competition—combined with a knockout score of 20.0 that reflects his finishing capability. Rather than pursuing takedowns (0% accuracy, 0.00 TD average), Sousa remains a pure striker who absorbs 3.71 strikes per minute, indicating he's willing to trade volume to land his offense.

His recent form has been emphatic: he secured a third-round TKO over Cristian Perez on August 26, 2025, before following up with another round-three knockout against Bolaji Oki on March 14, 2026. Both victories came via stoppage, showcasing his capacity to break opponents down methodically rather than seek early heroics.

With an undefeated recent run and a cardio score of 52.4, Sousa appears positioned for a significant step up in competition within the lightweight ranks.
