Marvin Vettori

Marvin Vettori, a southpaw middleweight from Italy, holds a professional record of 19-10-1 and has gone 5-3 over his last eight UFC outings. Standing 6'0" with a 74-inch reach, Vettori operates as a volume striker with modest finishing power, landing 4.74 strikes per minute at 45% accuracy while absorbing 4.55 per minute and defending 56% of incoming strikes.

He averages 1.41 takedowns per 15 minutes at 43% accuracy, complemented by solid 68% takedown defense, making him a well-rounded mixed martial artist rather than a specialist in any single discipline. His submission average of 0.4 per 15 minutes reflects occasional grappling opportunities.

Vettori's recent resume includes a first-round submission of Karl Roberson in June 2020, a unanimous decision victory over Paulo Costa in October 2021, and a unanimous decision win against Roman Dolidze in March 2023, offset by losses to Robert Whittaker (September 2022), Jared Cannonier (June 2023), and Dolidze in their rematch (March 2025). The decision-heavy nature of his recent fights underscores his reliance on point-fighting consistency rather than dominant finishes.

Vettori currently sits outside the middleweight rankings and faces an uphill climb to reclaim contention status.
