Matheus Camilo

Matheus "Jaguar" Camilo is a 23-year-old Brazilian orthodox fighter with a 10-3 record who competes at lightweight. A grappler-first competitor, Camilo averages 4.43 takedowns per 15 minutes with 53% accuracy, though his 0% takedown defense suggests vulnerability when opponents control the narrative on the mat.

His striking output remains modest at 2.19 strikes landed per minute with 43% accuracy, while he absorbs 3.25 strikes per minute and defends at 64%—numbers indicating he operates as a volume wrestler rather than a polished striker. Camilo's submission average of 0.6 per 15 minutes reflects occasional grappling threats, though he lacks knockout power.

Recent performances show mixed results: he earned a unanimous decision victory over Viacheslav Borshchev in November 2025, but suffered a second-round submission loss to Gabe Green in May 2025, highlighting the stakes of his defensive wrestling gaps. At 5'10" with a 69-inch reach, Camilo's frame suits his grappling approach, though his cardio score of 53 suggests stamina may factor into extended exchanges.

His development hinges on shoring up defensive wrestling while refining his striking to create more diverse offensive threats at the lightweight level.
