Michael Aswell Jr.

Michael "The Texas Kid" Aswell Jr. holds an 11-4-0 professional record and competes at featherweight as an orthodox striker standing 5'8" with a 69-inch reach. A volume-based striker averaging 7.79 strikes landed per minute with 42% striking accuracy, Aswell absorbs 7.43 strikes per minute while maintaining 51% striking defense—indicating a high-output fighter willing to trade in exchanges.

His grappling remains minimal with just 0.32 takedowns attempted per 15 minutes and zero submission averages across his career, though he converts takedowns at 100% when attempting them and defends them at 57%. Aswell's knockout power is notable at a 12.7 KO score, exemplified by his October 2025 first-round KO of Lucas Almeida in just 2:42.

However, recent form has been inconsistent: losses to Bolaji Oki (May 2025, unanimous decision) and Luke Riley (March 2026, unanimous decision) sandwiched around that Almeida finish. His cardio score of 55.8 suggests stamina may factor into decision losses in extended fights.

At 24 years old, Aswell remains a developing prospect with finishing ability but needs to tighten his striking defense and consistency at featherweight to climb the rankings.
