Miranda Maverick

Miranda Maverick, a 5'3" southpaw from the women's flyweight division, carries a professional record of 17-6-0 with a recent mixed run of 5 wins and 3 losses over her last eight UFC outings. Maverick operates as a well-rounded mixed martial artist who blends striking volume with consistent takedown attempts, landing 3.22 strikes per minute at 44% accuracy while averaging 2.16 takedowns per 15 minutes, though her 40% takedown accuracy and 45% takedown defense indicate vulnerability in the grappling exchanges.

Her defensive striking is solid at 61%, absorbing 2.25 strikes per minute, and she poses a submission threat at 0.4 submissions per 15 minutes. Recent highlights include a first-round TKO stoppage of Liana Jojua in October 2020, a unanimous decision victory over Shanna Young in November 2022, and a second-round submission of Sabina Mazo in March 2022, though she suffered a setback against Rose Namajunas via unanimous decision in June 2025.

Maverick's inconsistency against top-tier competition and modest striking efficiency suggest she remains a mid-tier contender in a competitive division.
