Preston Parsons

Preston "Pressure" Parsons holds an 11-6-0 professional record and fights out of an orthodox stance at welterweight. The 29-year-old is a balanced mixed martial artist who operates as a volume grappler, averaging 3.46 takedowns per 15 minutes with a 71% takedown defense rate, while landing 3.54 strikes per minute at 51% accuracy.

Parsons also poses a submission threat, averaging 2.3 submission attempts per 15 minutes, though his recent form has been inconsistent. Over his last six fights, he's compiled a 2-4 record, including a decisive loss to Oban Elliott via unanimous decision in July 2024 and a devastating first-round knockout to Jacobe Smith in January 2025.

He did secure a unanimous decision victory over Matthew Semelsberger in January 2024, demonstrating he can execute his grappling game against ranked competition. However, his vulnerability to striking exchanges—evidenced by the quick knockout losses to Rodriguez and Smith—remains a liability.

Parsons will need to reassert his wrestling-based approach and tighten his striking defense to reverse his recent downward trajectory in the welterweight division.
