Santiago Ponzinibbio

Santiago Ponzinibbio, the Argentine Dagger, carries a 31-9-0 professional record as an orthodox welterweight standing 6'0" with a 73-inch reach. A volume striker who lands 4.78 strikes per minute with 41% accuracy while absorbing 4.68 per minute, Ponzinibbio operates as a consistent offensive threat with solid 61% striking defense and 71% takedown defense, though his 0.60 average takedowns per 15 minutes and 27% takedown accuracy reveal limited grappling ambitions.

His 16.7 knockout score underscores his finishing ability—evidenced by first-round KO victories over Gunnar Nelson in July 2017 and Wendell Oliveira Marques in September 2014, plus a fourth-round finish of Neil Magny in November 2018. However, recent struggles have defined his trajectory: losses to Michel Pereira via split decision in May 2022 and most recently Daniel Rodriguez via third-round knockout in May 2025 bookend a volatile stretch.

With a 4-4 record across his last eight fights, Ponzinibbio remains a dangerous mid-card welterweight capable of spectacular finishes but inconsistent in execution against elite competition.
