Shauna Bannon

Shauna Bannon is an Irish switch-stance strawweight fighter holding a 7-3-0 professional record, though her recent five-fight stretch shows a 2-3 mark indicating a competitive period. At 5'5" with a 65-inch reach, Bannon operates as a pure submission threat rather than a volume striker, averaging just 3.85 strikes landed per minute with 44% accuracy while absorbing 3.25 strikes per minute at 45% defense.

Her submission average of 0.5 per 15 minutes reflects her grapple-oriented approach, though she has never successfully landed a takedown in her UFC career despite defending 47% of opponent attempts. Recent performances highlight this submission-heavy identity: she submitted Puja Tomar in round two (March 2025) and earned a split decision over Alice Ardelean (July 2024), but suffered consecutive submission losses to Sam Hughes in round two (September 2025) and Nicolle Caliari in round three (May 2026).

These back-to-back submission defeats underscore vulnerability against opponents who can neutralize her ground game or impose their own grappling. With a cardio score of 53.2 and zero knockout power, Bannon's path forward depends on refining her striking volume and takedown execution to create more offensive opportunities before engaging in ground exchanges where opponents have recently found success.
