Tofiq Musayev

Tofiq Musayev is a 34-year-old Orthodox-stance lightweight from Azerbaijan carrying a 23-6-0 professional record. The Azeri fighter operates as a well-rounded mixed martial artist, averaging 1.84 strikes landed per minute with 46% accuracy while absorbing 1.74 strikes per minute and defending 50% of incoming strikes.

Musayev's wrestling forms the core of his offensive approach, landing 2.30 takedowns per 15 minutes at 60% accuracy, though his defensive wrestling sits at an even 50%, indicating vulnerability when opponents initiate grappling exchanges. With zero submission average and no knockout power on his resume, Musayev relies on control-based wrestling and volume striking rather than finishing ability.

His recent form has been mixed: he earned a unanimous decision victory over Ignacio Bahamondes on March 28, 2026, but suffered a first-round submission loss to Myktybek Orolbai on June 21, 2025, highlighting inconsistency at the highest level. Musayev's cardio score of 31.2 suggests moderate conditioning relative to elite lightweights, potentially limiting his ability to maintain wrestling volume in championship rounds.
