Anna Melisano

Anna Melisano, competing at 125 pounds with a 6-2-0 professional record, is a United States-based Orthodox fighter whose career has been defined by defensive limitations and striking inefficiency. Across her tenure, Melisano lands just 0.49 strikes per minute with a 33% accuracy rate while absorbing 1.23 strikes per minute—a significant volume disadvantage compounded by her 28% striking defense.

She has not attempted takedowns in her career (0.00 TD average, 0% accuracy) and does not pose a submission threat (0.0 submission average), indicating a pure striking approach that has struggled against technical opposition. Her most recent outing on July 18, 2026, against Dione Barbosa resulted in a first-round submission loss at the 4:04 mark, extending her recent form to 0-1.

Despite a solid cardio score of 8.0, Melisano's inability to generate offensive output or defend effectively has limited her competitive standing at flyweight, where her striking-centric gameplan requires marked improvement in both volume and defensive acuity to remain viable.
