Brendson Ribeiro

Brendson Ribeiro, nicknamed "The Gorilla," is a 27-year-old Brazilian light heavyweight with a 17-10-0 record (1 NC) fighting out of an orthodox stance. Standing 6'3" with an 81-inch reach, Ribeiro operates as a volume striker who lands 3.04 strikes per minute at 42% accuracy while absorbing 3.91 strikes per minute with 53% defensive efficiency.

His grappling remains a secondary tool, averaging 0.85 takedowns per 15 minutes at 42% accuracy with concerning 21% takedown defense—a liability against wrestlers. Ribeiro carries knockout power with a 13.4 KO score and submits opponents at 0.6 per 15 minutes, evidenced by his second-round submission of Diyar Nurgozhayev in March 2025.

However, recent results reveal inconsistency: he suffered devastating first-round KO losses to Oumar Sy (September 2025) and Azamat Murzakanov (June 2025), bookending a split-decision win over Caio Machado and a first-round submission victory. His cardio score of 48.1 suggests durability concerns in extended exchanges.

With a 3-5 record across his last eight fights, Ribeiro faces mounting pressure to stabilize his trajectory in a competitive light heavyweight division.
