Dione Barbosa

Dione Barbosa, "The Witch," is a 32-year-old Brazilian fighter competing in the women's flyweight division with a professional record of 9-4-0 and an orthodox stance. Barbosa operates as a well-rounded grappler with submission prowess, averaging 2.40 takedowns per 15 minutes at 44% accuracy while maintaining solid takedown defense of 63%.

Her striking output remains modest at 2.21 strikes landed per minute with 45% accuracy, though she absorbs strikes efficiently at 2.40 per minute with 64% defensive proficiency. Most notably, Barbosa averages 1.7 submission attempts per 15 minutes, reflecting her dangerous submission threat from top position.

Over her last six UFC fights, she has compiled a 4-2 record, including first-round submission victories over Rainn Guerrero in September 2023 and Diana Belbita in April 2025, as well as a majority decision win over Melissa Gatto in April 2026. However, she has suffered consecutive unanimous decision losses to Miranda Maverick in July 2024 and Karine Silva in August 2025, suggesting struggles against high-level strikers who can control the pace.

Barbosa's path forward depends on securing dominant grappling performances against opponents who cannot neutralize her submission game.
