Manel Kape

Manel Kape, a 31-year-old southpaw from Portugal, carries a professional record of 22-7-0 and has gone 5-3 over his last eight UFC outings. Operating at flyweight, Kape functions primarily as a volume striker, landing 5.04 strikes per minute with 56% accuracy while maintaining solid defensive positioning at 57% strike defense.

His grappling remains supplementary—averaging just 0.40 takedowns per 15 minutes at 30% accuracy, though he defends takedowns efficiently at 81%. Submission threats are minimal at 0.3 per 15 minutes, but Kape has demonstrated finishing power in recent performances.

Most notably, he scored a first-round knockout of Brandon Royval in December 2025 and a third-round TKO over Asu Almabayev in March 2025, bookending a decision loss to Muhammad Mokaev in July 2024. Earlier, he posted a unanimous decision victory over David Dvorak in December 2022.

Kape's recent resurgence—three consecutive wins including two finishes—positions him as a mid-tier threat in a competitive flyweight division, though consistency against elite opposition remains his defining challenge.
